Light Night 2023: Gravitational Waves & Drug Monitoring

Join us for the annual Light Night 2023 on April 18th in Pilax Box at the VUB Main Campus! This event is organised as a tribute to International Day of Light for master students and external people interested in photonics, optics and engineering.

This year we will have three amazing speakers. The first speaker is Professor Anja Boisen with her talk entitled “Raman-based sensing techniques and micro/nano structures – stories on drug delivery and therapeutic drug monitoring“. The other two speakers, Professor Michael Vervaecke and Professor Alexandre Sevrin will give us a presentation about “Gravitational wave astronomy and technology”.

By the end of the event, the president of B-PHOT Student Chapter will give a closure presentation during which the winners of the Photo Contest 2022 will be announced, followed by a reception.
